Joe Nolan said Connecticut residential customers could see the per kilowatt hour charges on the supply portion of their electric bills mirror what Eversource's customers in New Hampshire are already paying.
Arnold Gold / Hearst Connecticut MediaĮversource Energy's chief executive officer told financial analysts Wednesday the amount the majority of the utility's residential electric customers in Connecticut pay could increase dramatically in January, after a review by state utility regulators. The company's Granite State s customers saw the rate they pay increase from 11 cents per kilowatt hour to 22 cents. Eversource Energy CEO Joseph Nolan told financial analysts on Thursday that a majority of the company's Connecticut ratepayers could see electric supply rates increase by as much as they did in New Hampshire.
